It doesn't help that the starting community didn't flesh out the rules very well (myself included in that, even though I came in a year later it was the first game I moderated). Despite that, not a lot of people run this game. I just want answers & explaination of these holes. Here's the quick and dirty: Dreadout is a fun game with a lot of personality. Maybe LIR is a good ghost after all lol and maybe there will be an epic battle between the snake queen & LIR xD I like theory about the game. Maybe Act 2 act as a bridge for further DreadOut installment (Act 3/DreadOut 2). (oh and also do anybody knows what's up with the giant 'bidadari'/angel lore? would love to know about it) (Why do we need to go to the mansion? What kind of secret do we need to know? What is the main goal in the first place really?! Dx) I love the new ghosts eventho Matianak scares me to death xD The side quests are also entertaining but I do feel that I know more about these random ghosts than the main story ghosts. I just hope the objective is more helpful & have hints. Still can get lost & stuck pretty easily but manageable. The ghost battle & puzzles are solid (well, solid than before, enjoyable & have variation to defeat them). Lady in Red(LIR) history (I was hoping that the mansion hold her secrets since it 'seems' to look like her house)īut I do really love Act 2 despite the story progession. I was hoping that some of the main questions from Act 1 are answered/hint given to connect it in Act 2 (other than the characters fate) such as: There's just so many holes in the storyline. Also I dont know if any ghost even realize that Yayan is in the bathroom :/ ) I dont know the story behind those.Īlso I dont know why she would spare Linda's life in the end and even Yayan's (which if he's stuck at the bathroom, then he doesn't get any fear from all the ghost. is it something to do with uroboros (or something?) snake thing? that it needs human sacrifice to give birth to something that she holds at the end? I'm not sure. Siska already set this up for all the students that she brought, to be in that dead town.īut for what purpose? that, I dont know. I dont like this game".īut what you didn't know, it was all a purpose in the first place. Siska is so stupid for letting the students just go on their own." "Why she not checking the GPS in the first place" "Why she so careless" "What kind of teacher is that. You know, with all the people that told that "oh! Ms. Siska is already been possessed in the first place. Hoping for a sequel in the future or another game inspired by fatal frame/dreadout. I hope this company brings us more though, I loved fatal frame and enjoyed playing a game that was inspired by fatal frame. It achieved the atmospheric part of horror games, but the plot didn't hold together very well. Still a fun game to me and I enjoyed it but the point of horror-based games is to bring a swell story with a creepy, almost scary atmospheric setting. Overall, i think the plot fell apart in Act 2 (or maybe i just missed all the connecting parts). Wtf happened to Yanyan and Ira? What was the whole ordeal with the town being abandoned and the ghosts? Did Miss Saskia plan this or is she possessed like the rest? I also don't know what the whole thing was with the lady in red and Lin. I just don't know what happens to everyone else besides shelly and donnie where they died. The other, true ending left me with more questions. The 2 endings were ok but i didn't like the alternate ending (where linda runs away from everything in an attempt to get away but fails). Boss fights were fun but felt the same, probably because i didn't utilize weak points. Very little bugs beside the Auto-save not working after act 1. The play time didn't drastically increase (i had originally believed it would be a lot longer than act 1, idk if that's really true or not) and it left me with more questions than ever. I don't know if Act 2 was worth such a long wait.
